Opening Summer 2025

Meet the Owners: Al & Jessica Griffin

Born and raised in Levant, just down the road from The Bark House, Jessica Griffin has always had a deep love for dogs and a passion for business. After building a successful career in corporate America, she decided to follow her true calling and create a place where dogs feel at home and their owners can have peace of mind.

Jessica and Al have shared their life with dogs for as long as they can remember, from a cherished Old English Sheepdogs to their current Newfiepoo, Bo. Along with their family’s two horses, animals are at the heart of their home. Jessica and Al live in Levant with their blended family, spending free time at their camp in northern Maine, enjoying lake life, campfires, and outdoor adventures.

Their vision for The Bark House is simple: a place where dogs have the best time, and their owners feel completely at ease knowing their pets are happy, safe, and loved.
