Schedule Their First Day
A one-time evaluation to ensure your dog feels right at home
On their first day at daycare all dogs will go through a one-time evaluation to make sure we’re the right fit. This helps us understand your pup’s personality and ensure they’ll thrive in our environment.
During the evaluation day, your dog will be slowly introduced to our facility and a small group of compatible dogs under the care of our experienced team. We’ll observe their comfort level, body language, and play style to determine the best group for them. If they need a little more time or show signs of stress, we’ll reach out with next steps and options.
The process includes:
Calm, low-pressure intake experience
Potty walk and initial quiet time
Gradual introduction to other dogs
Professional observation and matching to the right playgroup
Honest, compassionate feedback
Our team is always happy to answer questions ahead of time!
Do I need to schedule daycare in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking in advance to ensure space is available—especially on busy days or holidays. You can easily reserve your spot through our online system.
What are your drop-off and pick-up times?
We don’t have set times! Drop off and pick up any time during business hours. For added convenience, we offer a drive-thru lane so you don’t even have to get out of the car. Early drop-off may be available by request. Late pickups may incur a small fee.
Is a daycare evaluation required?
Yes. All new daycare pups must complete a one-time evaluation to ensure they’re comfortable in our environment and a good fit for group play. It’s a relaxed, half-day intro that helps us match your dog to the right playgroup.
What if my dog doesn’t do well in group play?
That’s okay! Not every dog is a social butterfly. If your dog isn’t comfortable in a group setting, we’ll let you know and recommend alternative options like one-on-one enrichment or walks.
How are the dogs grouped for play?
Dogs are grouped by size, temperament, and play style. Our experienced staff monitors all playgroups to ensure safe, healthy interactions and step in when breaks or redirection are needed.
Will my dog get dirty during daycare?
Our indoor and outdoor are turfed yards, so your dog won’t be coming home muddy. But they may get damp from water and their best friend’s slobber. But nothing that you need to worry about in your car!
